Nicky is a sensitive and talented acupuncturist who has the rare ability to put you completely at ease. Nicky immediately puts you at your ease. I had back pain and knee pain. Firstly I had the back pain worked on . I had not had acupuncture before but felt that I would like to try it . After the first session I felt the difference the very next day. Week two I had a bit more treatment on my back and also work on my knee. My knee was damaged in a motorcycle accident 30 years ago and will eventually need replacing. After 3 or 4 sessions I felt so much better .I can now walk without a limp and my back pain has gone completely. I can highly recommend anyone to visit Nicky she is very professional and caring and acupuncture worked for me. I will not hesitate to contact Nicky in the future if ever I need her help. D

A superb acupuncturist! I have had acupuncture done since 1980 with various practitioners all over the world and have read a lot on oriental medicine over the years. In the 1990's, acupuncture helped me overcome a condition that allopathic doctors deemed "incurable". I have had treatment with very skilled acupuncturists and some acupuncturists that had only taken a seminar or two and were not skilled at all. I state these facts to simply show I do know how to distinguish a good practitioner from one that leaves much to be desired. By far, Nicky is one of the best practitioners I have ever had. She combines both traditional acupuncture with five element acupuncture (though five element acupuncture in some camps is considered the more "traditional") addressing both the physical aspects of one's problems as well as the emotional issues that may be underlying one's presenting condition. For example, I had been suffering with insomnia for many years and I was able to finally get the rest and sleep I needed. This has been so important and so intrinsic for my body to do its own healing properly. I have felt more energised and focused as well. She has helped me begin to move forward again in my life after some major setbacks. (Acupuncture doesn't just help physical problems, it is great for dealing with depression, grief and feeling "stuck in life". Many people do not know that). Nicky is a skilled, thoughtful, well-trained and genuine acupuncturist whose gentle demeanour belies her true force as a powerful healer.
