Who has acupuncture?
Many people have acupuncture to relieve specific aches and pains, such as low back pain, osteoarthritis of the knee, headaches and TMJ, or for common health problems like an overactive bladder. It is quite normal for people to come for a particular health complaint only to see other symptoms disappearing too.
Others come when they feel that their bodily functions are out of balance, but don't have an obvious diagnosis. Many come for regular treatment simply because they find it relaxing and beneficial.
